Edin Martinez-Peralta, age 21, of Stamford, was arrested and charged on Wednesday, Jan. 19, for the crash which took place on Monday, Nov. 22.

According to Sgt. Jeffrey Booth, of the Stamford Police Department, Daniel Esteban Pico was driving his motorcycle on Elm Street on Nov. 22 when Martinez-Peralta made a left turn in front of him and impeded his path.

Booth said that Pico “attempted to stop, but was unable to, and collided with the side” of Martinez-Peralta’s car.
